Welcome to Primal Medicine — a sacred, sensual photography experience designed to hold your whole self. This is not a boudoir shoot. This is a co-created ceremony where emotion, energy, and embodiment come forward without apology.
Jenna guides you into a space where grief, sensuality, rage, celebration, and release are not only welcome — they are seen, held, and made into art. Through intentional photography rooted in somatic and spiritual practice, Primal Medicine invites you to reclaim your body, your story, and your voice.

Most people arrive unsure if they can “do” a shoot like this. They leave with their shoulders dropped, their eyes softer, and something deep inside shifted. Jenna’s trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent approach creates a container where you can move freely — cry, shake, laugh, rage, roar, surrender. This is soul work disguised as a photoshoot.

Primal Medicine is a multi-hour ceremonial experience offered in Missoula, Montana and select travel locations. Each session includes:
A guided intake & workbook to clarify your emotional themes and intentions
Wardrobe collaboration and styling support
Optional hair + natural makeup by trusted artists
Choice of a chauffeured nature adventure or private indoor location
Sensory activation: sound, scent, texture, movement, grounding practices
Fully guided photography session
Curated gallery of 25–40 images
Optional: bespoke albums, wall art, heirloom prints

Soulful art begins with a human connection. The process for working together begins with an in-person or virtual meeting where we discuss your vision and how to bring it to life.
Prepare
During our initial consult we discuss your location desires, investment options and go through examples of my work to see what aligns for you. One week before your session I send you a guide to help you prepare.
Create
Your day arrives and we've connected, communicated, and prepared. The creative process is a liberating, flow of our ideas, our environment and the carefully considered mood we create together.
Celebrate
We make fine art together and part of my process is taking time to celebrate this creation. I create a reveal experience for every client so artist and muse can celebrate and appreciate our creation.

Step 1

Step 2
To prepare for your ceremony you will receive an online workbook this helps you set your intensions, create your personalized experience and understand the concept of co-creation.
You will also have a zoom + In-person wardrobe consultation.

Step 3
The experience begins with setting an intentional space with beauty and tools to work with- red linens, candle light, precious gems & stones….. grounding & micro dives into sensuality which includes:
~ Livening the senses-
~ Listening to selected poetry,
~ affirmations, music; customized -artist discretion
~ Tasting
~Smelling
~ Self massage
~ Breathwork- 3 cleansing/clearing breaths
Photography / Witnessing Session begins. There will be touch points to journal if desired!
Step 4
Only 24 hrs later…
~ 1 Hour Reveal Presentation; includes Viewing a slideshow set to music of your soft proofed images
~ Debriefing on what is alive in you in reflection of your images
~ Artist walk through of select images and the intentional edit /vision
~ Fine Art Velvet or Leather Bound Album Digital File Collection
~ $500 Credit towards Luxury Wall Art
You will be presented with a minimum of 60 images to choose from during your reveal presentation and ordering session.
Your photos will be delivered in a mix of color and black & white.
My goal is to capture the true power of who you are, who you are becoming and to document your strength and beauty with honesty. Our sessions together are intimate expressions of who you are.
If it does not feel natural or honoring to you to be nude in your photographs – then it does not make sense for you to reveal yourself in that way.
You don’t have to do anything that feels uncomfortable or unnatural to you.
