I’m Jenna Nord—photographer, storyteller, and space holder based in Missoula, Montana. I specialize in transformational photography for women navigating birth, identity, sexuality, and motherhood. My work applies to men and couples, and honors the wildness and wonder of humanity, not in polished perfection, but in deep presence and truth.
My Story
This path found me the same way it finds many women—through unraveling and remembering. I started this work because I lived it. I know what it’s like to move through grief, reinvention, and rebirth without a guide. In 2014, I photographed my first birth—and I understood, instantly, that this was ceremony. That moment changed everything. Since then, I’ve committed my life and camera to capturing women’s transitions with reverence, clarity, and creative freedom.

My Background
Since 2014, I’ve specialized in intimate, high-touch photography for women in Montana and beyond. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients across birth, boudoir, branding, and family work. My background also includes mentorship in storytelling, intuitive creative process, and rites of passage. I’m deeply embedded in Missoula’s creative, birth, and women’s wellness communities, and I continue to learn from every woman I photograph.

1. Do I need to know how to pose?
No. You don’t have to plan a thing. I fully guide you with intuitive direction.
2. What if I don’t feel “ready”?
Perfect. Most of my clients arrive in transition or mess. This is about showing up as you are—that’s where the magic lives.
3. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I offer custom plans for most offerings, especially my higher-end sessions and subscriptions.
4. Can I book you for travel?
Yes. I travel for select projects. I create proposals that meet a $5k minimum in services.
5. Is this appropriate for a gift?
Absolutely. Many women are gifted sessions for birthdays, anniversaries, or rites of passage.
6. Do you shoot weddings?
I photograph elopements and intimate ceremonies that align with my artistic approach yes & traditional weddings.
7. What if I’ve never done anything like this before?
Most of my clients haven’t. This is made for the first-timer ready to leap into truth.
8. Are digital files included?
Depends- what package your book, and what your customer journey entails. Optional tangible heirlooms are available as well.
9. Will you help me decide what to wear?
Yes. I offer styling advice and moodboarding as part of your experience.
10. Can I do this with my partner or child?
Yes. I offer couples sessions, mother+daughter ceremony work, and legacy portraiture.
